 Dear Shaklee Family,
I always try to bring the best people in the world to Shaklee so we can be the best possible partner in helping you grow your Shaklee business and the Shaklee Effect™. So today is an exciting day for me. I am both proud and thrilled to announce our new President of U.S. and Canada - Heather Chastain! The first time I met Heather, I thought that her experience, knowledge and skills were a perfect fit for our Shaklee family. And as I got to spend more time with her, this feeling was confirmed over and over again.
Most importantly, Heather is an executive of the highest caliber who has 20 years of experience in the direct selling industry. Heather comes to Shaklee from Arbonne, where she served as Senior Vice President and Chief Sales Officer. Heather joined Arbonne after the U.S. business declined and, in partnership with field leadership, she successfully changed the trajectory, resulting in double digit consistent growth.
Previously, Heather was President of Celebrating Home and Vice President of BeautiControl. She has also been the chair of the Ethics Committee of the Direct Selling Association and guided the first major revision of the DSA Code of Ethics in a decade.
Heather has a deep respect for the value of the field. While she has a broad and well-rounded experience in sales, marketing, manufacturing and operations, Heather also has a profound understanding of the importance of the field leadership and the critical importance of partnership between the field and the company.
Finally, Heather is a delightful human being that I know you will all enjoy being around. She has a wonderful husband and two terrific young girls, all of whom are excited to move to the San Francisco Bay Area from Southern California.
Heather's official start date is December 1st, but she is so excited to meet the Shaklee Family that she will be traveling with me to each of our Regional Conferences this month!
I know that you will all be delighted when you meet Heather and, if you can, please make every effort to come to a Regional Conference for that chance. I look forward to working in partnership with Heather, and with all of you, to capitalize on the wonderful momentum we have been experiencing since Shaklee Live in Cleveland and double the Shaklee North America market!
