Cinch® Recipe Contest Winning Recipes

As the fine poet William Cowper once said, "Variety's the very spice of life that gives it all its flavour." And when it comes to mixing up your Cinch® Shakes, adding a variety of wholesome ingredients will help optimize your nutritional intake and prevent "shake boredom."

That's why we asked our Cinch Shake users to show us how creative they could be by inviting them to enter our Shake It Up with Cinch®! Recipe Contest in March 2012.

Recipes had to meet the following criteria:
  1. Be easy to make
  2. Taste good
  3. Contain nothing artificial
  4. Contain 400 calories or fewer per serving. We received over 100 entries and selected our top five to be judged by Shaklee CEO Roger Barnett. Congratulations to our five finalists—and to our winner Debbie Cross, who submitted her recipe for Pumpkin Pie Cinch Shake! Recipe Contest Finalists

Pumpkin Pie Cinch Shake

2 scoops Cinch Vanilla Shake Mix
8 oz. vanilla soy milk
1/2 tsp. (or more) pumpkin pie spice
1/4–1/2 cup pumpkin puree
4–6 ice cubes

Blend well and enjoy!
Yummy Peach Cinch Shake

2 scoops Cinch Vanilla Shake Mix
1 cup coconut milk
2 medium peaches

Blend well and enjoy!
Christiane's French Cinch Shake

2 scoops of Cinch Vanilla Shake Mix
1 cup milk (nonfat, soy, or almond)
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/8 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. cayenne powder

Blend well and enjoy!
Strawberry Chard Cinch Shake

2 oz. red chard
4 oz. canned pineapple
1 inch fresh ginger
4 oz. frozen strawberries
16 oz. water

Peanut Butter Cup Shake

1 T natural peanut butter
8 oz. almond milk
2 ice cubes
